NESO was written and directed by Josiah Knuth in 2020. From the first draft in January of 2019, to filming in November of 2019, to the grueling editing, mixing, and VFX process throughout the next year, all the way to the film’s showcase in September of 2020, the process took 20 full months to produce a 13 minute short film. NESO is currently making its festival run and has been accepted at one film festival. Josiah hopes to eventually be able to work on film again and has a few feature length films in mind.
